Kelsey and Steve had an absolutely beautiful wedding day at the Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club in Virginia Beach, Virginia! The picturesque waterfront setting, complete with gorgeous landscaping, lots of boats, and a spectacular sunset, made for such a romantic, coastal atmosphere. Kelsey and Steve envisioned a coastal southern color palette with blush, white, dusty rose and French blue combined with delicate accents of greenery. To bring their vision to life, we used lots of peonies, ranunculus, garden roses, tweedia, and eucalyptus leaves. It all smelled so good! The bouquets were tied off with our French Blue and Playa Blanca silk ribbons, and the colors perfectly complimented Kelsey’s stunning wedding dress!
We wanted to really make a statement in the reception space, so we designed lush floral centerpieces placed in ginger jars for a romantic southern look, especially combined with tall French blue and white taper candles and gold accents. We also hung loose greenery to create a fresh, outdoor feel – the effect of everything together was amazing! The wedding was photographed by Sarah Street Photography, who did a wonderful job. As always, I loved working with the staff at the Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club and Haddy After Events! Kelsey and Steve are the sweetest couple – we had an amazing time working together, and it was such a joy to be part of their wedding.
